NC Museum of Art

We took the kids to explore Art in the Park at the NC Art Museum.
This is one free field trip we would gladly do every year.

The outside exhibits are all along many trails and pathways

great friends

Lowe's Pavilion: art-as-a-shelter

Crossroads/Trickster I: The kids all thought it looked like a corn cob standing up.

Cloud Chamber for the Trees and Sky: A small aperture in the roof projects
an inverted image of the sky onto the floor of the chamber

on the way to have picnic lunch

Collapse I: steel and concrete to create larger-than-life figurative sculptures
